I am totally convinced that I must be a “trophy wife” because he certainly did not marry my for my mind.
Last night I had to run to the store to pick up some “stuff.” I was really excited because the self-check-outs were open. I then realized I was missing something. Something important. My wallet.
I really do think about using a purse. I’m just not that kind of girl. I don’t know quite what that means, but I know that if I used a purse, it would be harder to not have my wallet on me.
I am just glad I was never pulled over. I certainly do not need a ticket for driving with out a license.
And then upon returning home for real, I closed the car door on my leg.
I’m going to go hang my head in shame now. Again.
On a great note, my blood pressure was 131/80 last night! Much better than back in August, or was it September?
Three points to whomever can correctly identify the whole quote the title came from, and where I heard it. Other than Jacob, and any one ought to be able to get it, it is not an inside joke, necessarily.
If it weren’t for having children I would carry everything I needed in my back pockets of my jeans. But since I have children I have to carry something that can accommodate holding children-y stuff.
I hope your leg feels better. That is no fun.
Hooray for a much better blood pressure reading! (I’m thinking it was end of August beginning of September time.)
And I have no clue right now about the title. But I will think about it.
I’m gonna guess your quote came from one of your trips to wal-mart. You overhear some of the weirdest things.
I am a non-purse user, too! for the most part. Life does look easier with a purse, they just haven’t ever clicked with me. I have no clue on the title, but I really liked the opening sentence of this post, made me laugh!
To Wong Fu?
You are so a trophy wife. Good job on getting your bp down and I hope you don’t have a big bruise on your leg. I hate it when I forget something especially something like a wallet. Once I forgot my groceries, because they took them outside and I was suppose to drive up for them and I got all the way home and realized I didn’t have anything to carry in. Thankfully I didn’t live too far away and it wasn’t super hot out.
You are so a trophy wife, too–I say this after eating a few of those yummy rolls you sent with us on Sunday. MMMM MMMMMM good!!!!!! It is a good thing we do not live too close to you–we all might gain weight from your delicious food!!! But would really love to live closer to you w/o the weight gain! Good job on the blood pressure decrease!!! Oh yes, and if my head were not attached–most days I would forget it! Must be in the blood??
Oh-one more thing–I am a purse bearing mama–stuffed to the rim and then some. I just LOVE “stuff” I guess.
